Favorite Gifts from Jesus

Serving on the Board of Deacons is part of an ongoing personal commitment to utilize gifts that I believe Jesus has given me:

• A heart for service

• Enough health to enjoy life with physical activities

• An ability to play and enjoy music

• A wonderful wife and family

Service Passion

My commitment to service and my passion for service have evolved over the years. I retired from a career in municipal engineering, making life better for people through public infrastructure and environmental projects around the country. More recently, my service efforts include feeding the hungry through Feed My Starving Children, communion assistant, hospitality team, Wednesday evening dishwasher, life group guide, and Stephen Minister. Community service includes organizations to further math education and music appreciation.

Family

My Family and I became members at Peace Church after moving to Eau Claire in 1996. Deborah and I have raised two children and are enjoying retirement:

• Matthew is a computer programmer living in Colorado Springs.

• Sarah owns her own photography business and is living in Eau Claire with her husband Ryan.
