Discover Events @ Peace
Discover Events are designed to draw participants into God’s word in new ways by focusing on different aspects of primary Biblical teaching. Each event will focus on a topic that will help you understand God’s Word as well as give you personal tools for reading and understanding the Bible on your own. Many of the events are one-time sessions lasting about 2 to 2.5 hours. If you are interested in participating in one of the Discover Events that are not currently on the schedule, be sure to let us know. We will offer events based on the interest expressed.

Discover Jesus Class
Discover Jesus is a class designed to give an overview of the life and work of Jesus Christ. You will learn biblical context and insights into how Jesus interacted with the various people groups and individuals of His day.

Discover Bible Basics
Level 1: This class is for people who are just wanting to get started in reading the Bible on their own. We will cover basic information about the Bible, how it is put together, how to look up and read Bible verses, and some helpful hints and tools for reading and understanding the Bible. This is a 2-hour session.
Level 2: This class will take you deeper into the reliability of Scripture, how the Bible came to be in its current form, important themes in the Bible, and more tools to help with interpreting and applying God’s Word. This is a 2 session event, at 1.5 hours per session.
